Why are my lights flickering?

If your lights are flickering, this indicates an electrical overload or another similar issue. To avoid any safety problems, you should get a certified electrician to inspect the problem area right away.

Why is my light switch hot?

Light switches can only handle a certain amount of electricity, and if they reach maximum capacity, they will be hot. This typically indicates a faulty switch or something else. It can be a serious safety hazard and should be addressed by a professional immediately.

How do I know if my electrical outlet is burning?

You will know if your electrical outlet is burning because you will probably see discoloration around an outlet. You may also notice a strange smell or feel that an outlet is unusually hot. In any case, this can put you at risk of an electric shock and can even be a fire hazard.

If you think your outlet is burning, call an electrician immediately.

What is a GFCI outlet?

GFCI stands for Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. These devices protect you from shocks as you use electrical equipment in your home. Essentially, they automatically shut off the electricity if there is an imminent danger of electrocution.

If you do not have these necessary safety devices in your home, you should consider getting a GFCI installed today.
